Your information
Privacy policy
This policy explains what DunkRise handles, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Effective October 6, 2026
DunkRise and dunkrise.com are operated by Strongomatic, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Contact us at jimmy@strongomatic.com for privacy questions or requests.
The essentials: You can begin training as a guest. Account data can sync to our backend. Jump-analysis videos are saved on the device where you record or import them; their measurements can sync with your account. Health integrations are optional.
1. Information we handle
- Account information: email address, account and profile identifiers, username, authentication information, and account preferences. If you use an available sign-in provider, we receive the account information that provider shares with your permission.
- Training and profile information: age, height, body weight, training experience, equipment, goals, program settings, workouts, sets, reps, weights, exercise notes, completed sessions, fatigue and movement-quality check-ins, and progress measurements you provide or record.
- Jump measurements and videos: standing reach, jump touch, jump type, takeoff preference, timestamps, and calculated estimates. Recording or importing a jump-analysis video copies it into the app’s local storage. The video file is not automatically uploaded by the jump-analysis feature. Measurement records and a local filename may sync with your account; the filename does not make the video available on another device.
- Optional health information: when you allow Apple Health or Health Connect access, DunkRise can read or write supported body-weight and workout records. Imported records may include their date and source. Records saved in DunkRise may be included in account synchronization.
- Purchases: store transaction identifiers, selected product, purchase and renewal status, and subscription entitlement information. Apple or Google processes your payment; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Support and content you choose to share: messages, attachments, and any workout, program, or exercise content you submit or share through an available feature. Sharing content with another app or person is separate from storing a local jump-analysis video.
- Technical information: our hosting, authentication, and purchase services process information such as IP addresses, request timestamps, app/device versions, and operational logs to deliver and protect the service. Where enabled in the app, crash reporting or usage analytics can process error details, device information, screen/activity events, and account identifiers. This launch configuration does not enable Firebase Analytics, Sentry crash reporting, or Help Scout support messaging; we will update this policy if those services are enabled.
2. Why we use information
We use information to create and maintain your account, build and display training programs, save and synchronize your history, calculate progress estimates, provide the integrations you request, manage purchases, answer support requests, and prevent abuse or diagnose service problems.
We do not sell personal information or use health information for advertising. We do not use health or fitness data for cross-app advertising profiles. This website has no advertising scripts or analytics cookies; Cloudflare processes requests to host and secure it.
3. Service providers and sharing
We use service providers to operate DunkRise: Supabase for account authentication, database synchronization and cloud storage where used; RevenueCat for purchase status and entitlements; Apple and Google for their stores and optional platform services; and Cloudflare for this website’s hosting and security. They receive the information needed to provide those services. External exercise media may be served by content-hosting providers when you open it.
Information you deliberately publish or share is available to its recipients and may be copied by them. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable privacy protections. We do not disclose health information for unrelated marketing.
4. Your choices and privacy rights
- Guest use: guest workout data remains local until you create or sign into an account and import it. Losing or uninstalling the app may remove unsynchronized data.
- Permissions: you can deny or revoke camera, photo-library, notification, and health permissions in your device settings. Features requiring that permission will be limited. Revoking access does not by itself erase records already saved.
- Access and correction: review or edit information through the available app settings. Settings → Export Data exports supported completed-workout records as CSV. For other data or corrections, contact us.
- Account deletion: use Settings → Account → Delete Account, or contact jimmy@strongomatic.com from your account email. Deletion removes your account and associated cloud data through our deletion process. Some storage cleanup may complete asynchronously. Deleting an account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription.
- Local files and health stores: local jump videos are separate from cloud account deletion. Remove the app and its local data to remove those copies, and manage any original camera-roll files, backups, exports, or shared copies separately. Manage records already written to Apple Health or Health Connect in those apps.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing of, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us to exercise those rights. We may need to verify your identity. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.
5. Retention and security
We keep account and training information while needed to provide your account and the services you request. After a deletion request, limited information may remain where needed for legal obligations, transaction records, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or backup recovery. Backup copies are retained under the relevant provider’s retention procedures and are not used to restore an active account after a deletion request. We do not promise immediate deletion from every backup or from third-party copies you created.
We use access controls and encrypted network connections to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Keep your device and account credentials secure.
6. International processing
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where applicable data-protection law requires safeguards for those transfers, we rely on appropriate contractual or other recognized safeguards. Where relevant, processing is based on providing the service you request, your consent for optional permissions, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, or our legal obligations.
7. Adults only
DunkRise’s automatic training programs are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly offer these programs to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service changes. We will publish the revised policy with its effective date and provide additional notice or request consent when required.
